Wednesday, July 07, 2004Dear fans,
I'm sorry I haven't posted for a while. It's been a very busy few weeks, and not many people read this much anymore in the first place. I've been spending practically every day with Cheri, and it has been awesome. I got my stepdad's old 300zx and sold my car to my brother since he couldn't afford anything else. It was a pretty good deal if you ask me. Drum practices have started now, Ryan is finally back in town, and I'm going to spend more time with Cheri while she's here. Summer is officially awesome again as opposed to 2 weeks ago and before. I new it would be great when things start picking up again. I guess this summer will come to a disappointing end with school starting and Cheri leaving again and stuff, but I just hope that first semester goes by as fast as it always does and that Cheri will be able to come home in January like she was supposed to. About all that, who knows? I will continue posting on here still, but I would definitely check out the livejournal because people actually read that.

Yesterday was Father's Day and it went pretty well. My brothers and I bought my dad a remote control hovercraft for him to drive around the pool and stuff. He needs fun stuff anyway, not a tie or a shirt or something lame like that. He thought it was cool, so mission accomplished on that one. After some steak and some swimming I headed to work. It wasn't busy at all. I was glad about that. I came home and passed out and my dad woke me up just in time for wrestling this morning.
My brother's car burned straight to heaven/hell (wherever cars go) last week. The engine caught fire and eventually burned up the entire car. He was out of the car anyway looking to see why smoke was coming out of the hood, so it's not like he burned with it. I actually think it's kind of funny because he worked ALL the time on that car, but it would never be completely fixed for more than a few weeks. What an ungrateful bitch. I'd really like to help my brother out getting a new car, but all I could do is give hime money, which I don't think he'll accept from me in the first place. He's borrowing my stepdad's car for the moment until he figures something out, so I guess he's not completely screwed. (0) comments Thursday, June 17, 20049 days and counting
I have been listening to the new Beloved CD recently, and MAN, is it awesome. I think I've fallen in love with their music. Speaking of love, I called Cheri today because I finally got another phone card, and it was awesome. Sounds funny, but it is good to know that she's still a real person instead another computer on AIM that happens to talk like Cheri would. She is getting back on the 26th, 9 days from today. I am really really really freakin excited. I don't know if I'll be able to believe that it's real until maybe a few days after. I may need some pinches or slaps or something to remind me that I'm not dreaming. Give me a diagnosis and a life expectancy because I am terminally in love with Cheri.

The end. ![]() That's us in the car, still in Alabama, before the INSANE amounts of rain started coming down. I don't think I got the idea because I'm the only one smiling. ![]() Rock out, Balch Road. Rock. ![]() This is Cory grabbing a drink at the gas station we stopped at because of the crazy rainfall. I bought Pringles and Gatorade. ![]() This is me eating gummy worms, my trip ritual. I look stupid. ![]() This is a very blurry picture of Cory (didn't use the flash) while we were upstairs in the lounge part of Rocketown. There are some girls looking at us. ![]() AHHH, the show. For some reason they weren't using the main stage this time around. I was a bit disappointed at first because of the smallness, but I actually found it to be a lot better because it's more "in-your-face" and as you can see by the picture, closer to the bands. That's The Bled. They were awesome. Me, Cory, and Nathaniel all had some good times dancing, but the floor was slippery so we fell alot. Cory fell about 8 times. ![]() This is an unusually awesome picture of the singer from Beloved. Beloved was GREAT. ![]() Another, less colorful, picture of Beloved. ![]() This is the last picture of them that I got. Their drummer looked right at me after I took the picture and he gave me this "Oh yeah you know I'm cool" look and I gave him a big thumbs up and he laughed. Hah. After the show we talked to their singer for a second or two. Cory got his autograph, but I didn't feel like asking for it. I bought their new CD, though. ![]() This is us being dumb after the show. We're all super sweaty and gross from dancing and just being in a small area with a bunch of people. ![]() Nathaniel got pulled over on the way home for going 90 in a 70. Hah. He has to go to court in Tennessee in August, but he didn't get a fine. How weird. ![]() This is me and Cory watching some more Family guy on Adult Swim once we got back. Overall, the whole thing was great. I went to sleep shortly afterwards and didn't wake up until about 45 minutes ago. Hooray for Beloved and hooray for Nashville. THE END (2) comments Monday, June 14, 2004My beloved Beloved
I'm going to see, you guessed it, Beloved tonight. I'm pumped. I will have pictures most likely tomorrow so just keep checking this. LATER!

I must say I did give the ACT a pretty good ass-kicking today. I feel good about that. The stupid reading part and science still don't let me finish them because there's so little time, but I think I still did well on them. Math, oh man, soooo easy. Last time I had trouble just because I don't think I learned anything in Algebra 2, but I can only think of like 2 or 3 problems on the math portion that I MAY have missed. I guess I will find out all of that later.
As far as the not coming to work thing, nobody cared. They changed the schedule on me and never told me, so I didn't come. My manager was just like "Oh I guess nobody told you." So, yay, I wasn't in trouble. That's practically it for now. I will update either this or the livejournal later. (0) comments Friday, June 11, 2004Blog withdrawel
Man it's been a good 4 days since I've posted in this thing. I miss it. The whole Livejournal crap is really taking away from my Blog time. Jeez.
Anyway, today was pretty good. I woke up at like 1:40 and just sat around for a while. I talked to Cheri some, which was good. She's out of school and should be returning home in a little over two weeks. To say I'm excited is an understatement. Today (the 10th) is also ten months for us. That is very, very cool. I love Cheri. No question about it. So, anyway, I went to Taco Bell with Nick and we met Andrew, his brother, and Wyatt (however you spell his name) and hung out. It was nice. Afterwards I went to my mom's house to visit her. That was also nice. Later, Nick came over and we watched The Last Samurai. It was really good, but really long. It finished about 15 minutes ago. Apparently, I was supposed to work today. I feel really bad about that, but I really didn't know. Last time I checked, I was working Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Maybe I was supposed to fill in for somebody but I forgot? I don't know. I kinda feel sick thinking about it because you're supposed to get fired if you miss work. I think things will be alright. I'm going to go and talk about that tomorrow with the manager. CRAP. (0) comments |
